What Is This?

ConvergenceX and SOST Protocol are fully open source under the MIT License. The source code is publicly readable, auditable, and open to contribution. No deposit, no fee, no registration required.

Include the original copyright notice and license text in copies or substantial portions of the software. That's it.

Licenses are cryptographically signed by the Foundation and verifiable on-chain without contacting any centralized authority:

  1. Download the license JSON
  2. Verify the ECDSA signature against the Foundation's public key
  3. Verify on-chain that deposit_txid exists as an ESCROW_LOCK
  4. Verify that the current block < unlock_block (license not expired)

FAQ

Is this open source?

It is open source. You can read, audit, and contribute to all code. Commercial deployment requires a license.

What happens after 1 year?

Your SOST deposit is automatically returned via the ESCROW_LOCK mechanism. You can renew by creating a new deposit.

Enforcement: The Foundation reserves the right to pursue remedies for violations of the MIT License terms, in accordance with applicable intellectual property law. This right exists to protect the ecosystem and its participants, not to restrict good-faith experimentation or contribution.
